Stefan's Tress&Co. hat would have been a good choice to compliment this blazer.
As it is the bespoke Gamble & ***n really does sit well, it's Tina's choice,
she made the trousers after being inspired by the hat.

I've just heard, "and the tie." The lady is looking over my shoulder. A striped tie
in grey, white and silver, proved elusive, so Tina made me one. Such is her talent.

I don't buy as many fedoras as westerns, but I do hunt daily for those from Portis. When this Lite-Wate appeared, with a ridiculously low BIN price, I immediately snatched it up.

It has their “sporty lining”, and the sweat is alternately marked “Tissue Lite.” It’s light grey, with a beautiful dark navy band, complete with wind trolley. The bound-edge brim is 2.5”, and the center-dent, front pinch, crown measures 5” all around. I can find no info at all on the original retailer (Huddik’s, Pontiac, MI), but the sporty liners are generally held to be from the late 50s to early 60s. And neither of the “Lite” appellations are misnomers: this baby weighs in at a marvelously airy 2.6 ounces!

Oh, happy Sundays!!! Far and away my #1, is the heathered Cambiaghi. I honestly let out an solemn, whispered, "Oh!" when I saw it. It's been a long time since ANY hat actually evoked an involuntary, out-loud, response from me. Second place goes to the Fléchet, and third to the Barbisio.
