No problem. The Classifieds section here is pretty good! You can save on ebay fees and taxes if you sell it here. Just be careful who you sell it to; long-term members are your best bet!My bad. Still learning. Thanks for the tip.
Careful why? Lack of payment or what? Very curious what you're implying. I'm new to selling stuff on online platforms and have never sold anything without the backing of an organization like ebay.No problem. The Classifieds section here is pretty good! ****s, which can be very prevalent, almost always new members who register just to ****. Put the word **** in the title search field on TFL and you will see threads about it. Sometimes even getting paid via Paypal does not help. Having said that, selling to long term members here who have good references carries little to no risk, and savings in fees and taxes. But yeah, some prefer ebay for the guarantee. A personal preference, for sure.Careful why? Lack of payment or what? Very curious what you're implying. I could understand new members selling being a ****, but how would one get ****med if they get paid via PayPal? What would the other outlet to get paid be? Sorry to derail this thread I am just always trying to learn. I certainly don't want to learn how to **** people. Lmao. Just want to know how to avoid being on the receiving end.Any time you sell on line you need to be careful. Old time members on the forum will have a good reputation and can easily be trusted, but when someone new (say only 10 posts) is selling or buying a little caution is advisable...
There was a ****mer (a buyer) claiming that "Item Was Not As Described", doing a chargeback, and lodging complaints with Paypal. Good luck trying to extricate yourself from that as a seller. You may win or you may not. But best to read the threads. Very educational.I could understand new members selling being a ****, but how would one get ****med if they get paid via PayPal? You can always ask for a legit check. I was a long time multi year member here, had a lot of life happened and hadnt been around for like 2-3 years. Just came back a month or two ago and made some sales. I made sure to mention I was here for years and vouches could be made if asked for. A few longer term members commented and said welcome back. So you if youre ever in doubt dont be afraid to ask for a vouch from a few folks. But this place is truly great to one another if youre a member in good standing. I always try to work out deals when Im selling. Ill covering shipping if I can, I recently made sale to Italy from New York...and it was nearly 100 extra dollars, I covered a little over half. While also taking 100 dollars off asking for what I would have asked on ebay. Ive had members reach out and say hey I think this would fit you, it didnt fit me Ill send it free shipping. I’ll take money off. I bought an expensive jacket and people have thrown in some shirts, or thrown in a no label 50s jacket for free. We really do look out for one another, and no ebay fees!Careful why? Lack of payment or what? Very curious what you're implying. Yes, I saw this post earlier this morning and opened the ebay link but I couldn't determine for sure if Cheb was the seller or the one making us aware of the sale.If you listed it, please ask the bartenders to move this post to the Classifieds subforum. Great jacket btw. @Peacoat
Thank you my friend. I did post in the classified section so go ahead and delete my previous post. Much appreciated!Yes, I saw this post earlier this morning and opened the ebay link but I couldn't determine for sure if Cheb was the seller or the one making us aware of the sale.
Cheb, if you want to list it, take measurements and post it in classifieds. Read the rules there first. If you post it in classifieds, I will delete your post here.
If you have a question about someone who wants to buy your jacket, you can ask any established member in Outerwear. We mostly all know each other here.

I've never seen a low priced jacket by The FewMore a find than a deal, but then again, what does someone pay for something like this? Not my thing, but The Few are very high quality jackets. Size 38.

Guess they aren’t for The Many…..?I've never seen a low priced jacket by The Few
Lot of guys and girls here in Spain who do the festivals would take that,
I was going to make the same comment. I haven't seen anyone selling anything in the classifieds who didn't require some form of non-chargebackable payment option like PPFF or Zelle. Seems like there's a lot more risk on the buyer's side to me(and as a newb I don't really like seeing advice suggesting to avoid *selling* to newbs)
