I like 'em short as you might see from the attached photo (yeah different model but still short) and mostly i wear my "lighter jackets" unbuttoned or underneath some heavier layers anyway.

So in my opinion i like both fit and lenght of your trucker.

Nice. I dig the boots too. Are those Frye?

Hello there folks. I was asking myself the same question earlier today, whether a leather jacket looks too fitted/snug or short on me or whether this fits ok.
Would you please share with me your thoughts? Much appreciated!
Have a nice evening everyone.

You’re going to have to retake the photos with a going-out outfit with jeans/pants (not swimming shorts), preferably with shirt tucked in so we can see your natural waist line. For the last photo, you’d need to raise your arms all the way up, horizontal/parallel (not diagonal) to the ground and describe your comfort level in terms of mobility.

Thanks so much for the prompt reply, you're right, should have taken those with the clothing I'd wear it with. Here it goes. Thanks again

Zipped up, the jacket looks half a size small on you, but unzipped, the jacket looks fine, especially if you wear your shirts untucked. Back length is fine, sleeve length could use another 1cm, front length could use 2cm, if i’m being picky. Sleeve hem is too wide though, maybe you didn’t use the sleeve zipper.

I should note that you can use the side laces to take in the waist a bit, there’s still quite a bit of room at the waist. I would take in the laces at the top 2 rings (in red) to avoid the bulge (in blue) sticking out.

Thanks buddy, I really liked it too! Indeed, I think I'll size up, just one size above and it should be alright

If you haven’t bought it, I encourage you to explore other patterns. That pattern fits you just ok, sizing up isn’t going to help much. It’s passable, but it’s not a perfect fit. Good (or good enough) is the enemy of great.

You should do a search of “perfect fit” to see how a leather jacket should fit. It’s meant to be flattering of the wearer.

I know what you mean! But to be honest I want to give it a proper shot, I am used to wear some cuts like Highwayman, trucker and cafe racer and wanted to go check what a more biker/Langlitz style would have to offer. It is different from what I am used to (classic cut single riders, etc) but maybe it could work for me as well

You may be confusing between pattern vs style. I’m not telling you to change the style, you can keep the biker/langlitz style that you like.

Pattern means how the measurements go together, how well proportioned they are to one another. There are generally two ways a pattern of the same style could fit: one with small shoulder and large p2p, which flatters one with pec muscle; the other is large shoulder and small p2p, which looks tubular and of a more vertical drop. Different makers play with these measurements even for the same style and same tag size.

You can try switching makers that offer the same style, and try them on to see how well they fit you.

Ok, I see what you mean!
Thanks for the insights, my friend.
I will check and consider my options to find the best possible fit within my options
Have a great day!
