Trying to identify this Captain America heavy grain leather jacket:

I was watching Captain America the other day and noticed the grain on his leather jacket. I can’t find any info on it. I did a search on here with no luck. I love the deep texturing.

Thanks, I’ll check them out. I have a black sheepskin with deep grain but I’ve never seen one that deep.

Not really. The pattern is well thought through.

The restrictions mainly stem from the thickness of the hide, not so much from its inherent stiffness. I am quite sure a stiffer hide in that thickness would be quite unwearble. Think a suit of armour vs. a wetsuit.

Still, I am superglad I nailed the sizing with this one: too large, and you look like a turtle in its shell; too small - I don´t even want to think about it.

I bought this knowing it would never be a daily wearer, but it has seen quite a bit of use and continues to be in regular rotation.
