The leather was very stiff, much like a work boot in chromexcel. So up to the owner what break in is like, effort put into it. Each owners experience will be different. While boots break in, because we typically have to wear them eight plus hours a day... Your experience breaking in this jacket will be personal and up to you. It was not an easy to break in jacket from my experience.

Color transfer? I never noticed any or expected any and definitely no transfer to clothing that I saw. But I am not the manufacturer nor did I do any testing, so I honestly can't say.

Pics? I sold the jacket. If you search for this jacket and my name you should see the sale listing and any photos that went with it. I believe the next owner of the jacket occasionally posted pics of the jacket in the "what jacket are you wearing today" thread and he may have sold it later as well, I don't fully recall.
