The outdoor photos are quite accurate. It's a very rich Los Angelean hue. I've had this hat for some time. I was told by the seller that the family had kept this hat in its original Stetson box since the owner passed away in 1943. Always have to take these accounts with a grain of salt, but the box and hat markings fit the timeline.

The hat has held up well but the new owner got older.
That is an utterly beautiful hat, both outside and in.

I rolled up this Borsalino Caesar and stowed it in my backpack as my backup hat for my travels last weekend but didn’t end up pulling it out till today. They may not be meant to be kept rolled up… but damn do they handle it well.
