How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

How old do you guys think it is based on the style? (no zip pics because I think it's a replacement).
It reminds me of my 40s Albert Richard

Great quality hide but not in the best condition.
What's wrong with it? Looks great to me.

Hey Marc,
I am specifying my Field halfbelt (based on his Idaho) at the moment.
I came across your jacket in the classifieds ans was immediatly drawn to it.
Especially the pocket configuation is very appealing to me as is the very balanced back.

Would you mind to provide the exact measurements of the back? (upper backpanel, belt, kidney panel)

Also it seems that sidepanel is flared out, so that the back appears to be trim. I like that a lot, could you measure the width of the sidepanel? (top, middle, bottom)

Last thing: the length of the slash pockets and the ****** Pocket, as the ratio seems ideal to me.

Your jacket to me is the epitome of a halfbelt to me, really gorgeous.

Cheers Daniel

PS: Is it horsehide?

Which jacket are we talking about, the ELMC Californian I've listed in the classifieds or the horsehide Albert Richard I posted above? ^^

Maybe I'm picky but there are a lot of flaky bits around the shoulders that may be cracking leather (doesn't show up super clearly in the photos). Also I've been conditioning it with Lexol + Urad so it definitely looks better now than when I got it.

I was also thinking 40s/50s due to the arm fasteners. I haven't really seen those on later jackets.

Honestly, looking at it, it is not such a bad fit. Sure it looks a bit too big but you still pull it off from what I can see in these pics. I would spend a bit more time with it to see if I can settle with it before selling it. What do you think?
Nah it was entirely too big. It’s back with the seller now, refunded. Which is OK. Something else has presented itself. Something really special!

Damn it! I should have trusted my gut on the blurry pic of the label. Says 36 not 38 and it’s too small.

Wearing it with a work shirt and a sleeveless sweater underneath. I’m +5kg heavier than I should but it feels a bit tight across the chest and the vent stays open with my bum.

Lost Worlds makes amazing stuff. This is stiff! I doubt it has ever been worn at all.

Looks completely new!

The peacoat is a great pattern, so useful in travelling and day to day life.

This Diesel just landed and while I plan on flipping it as it's too large for me (plus I don't wear these anymore), the quality is in all honesty and seriousness on par with any RMC and above Aero. Shocking how quality this jacket is & especially the leather.

Observe; I've just listed it to Grailed & the measurements are...
P2P: 25"
Waist: 19.5" (yeah, huge taper!)
Shoulders: 21.2"
Back: 22.5"
Sleeves: 25.5"

Thanks, couple inches too short in the body for me. Love the aggressive taper though, hopefully some dorito shaped man finds your listing.

It's a bit 50's / 90's in cut but nothing bad. Fits me okay but how I'd want, but if it was M, there'd be no doubt. Very exaggerated, aggressive D-pocket.

Hey Willy:
Fit is perfect on you.
Is this denim??
Down the road in several years this jacket should be epic like a Levis jacket all soft, creased and faded.
Peacoat has a feel all it’s own.
Cool

The peacoat is a great pattern, so useful in travelling and day to day life.
It also has an inside chest pocket on the left and an inside hip pocket on the right.
Looks superb from where I'm sitting!
The thing is that I can move in it, I don't feel too restricted but since it's supposed to be outerwear I feel weird wearing it so snug as I can't really layer a thick jumper underneathor wear wider trousers (The ones on the photo are my slim 20s style trousers).

As I have a lot of extra weight now I will hold on to it because it was a nice deal. The quality is so nice but now I'm curious about having the wool one from LW, problem is that soon it will be spring weather so is not a smart purchase to buy wool now.

It's denim yes. very stiff but comfortable. It certainly looks like one of those that will get soft and less stiff over time.

I will give it a chance!

Thanks guys.

Might be a little different than the look you’re going for but there are still great deals to be had on NOS Swedish M39 jackets. I paid around $40 CAD for mine, though I also had to buy buttons because the factory back in ‘42 hadn’t gotten around to them yet.
Not a bad design but if I'm going for a vintage coat I'd like something double breasted.

I came across what I think is a nice bridge coat, the measurements the seller gave me seemed a bit small for the size but I took a chance and got it anyway since it was only 30 bucks.
