50s HD Cycle champ Dpocket jacket arrived last month.
Studs were removed, but the leather is great.
The original mouton collar came together.

The main zip is "MARK" . I never seen this before. Does anybody know about this?

Love the jacket. How big is the zipper? It looks bigger than #5? The stitching around the pull looks original. However, look at the inner leather and confirm that there is not an additional row of the previous sewing. However, the zip looks original to me. Regarding the 4 small 7/8 studs, I have been looking for them for a long time. There is a company in Florida that was the original maker. Unfortunately, They are no longer being produced. I nice forum member and I have been keeping my eyes open for a large quantity supplier because I am planning to have several jackets reproduced using those very same studs.

The slider is same size to #5 talon. The slider has spring construction like old talon and crown.

Fortunately the seller immediately accepted the return. That jacket is straight up trash. Wouldn’t trade a Taco Bell taco for it. Smelling probably cut my lifespan by 10 years.Damn, you've been on a tough streak lately Ton...

Yeah but this isn’t a blazer as such. It’s an overcoat. 1” more and it’s on the money.

Ordered another zip sleeve highwayman today. this time black vic. Otherwise, same specs. 38 to 36 hem. Looking forward to this one. I had a dark seal vic type iii I ordered from TB years ago and sold off. Leather is in stock said should go into production next week!
Makes it number 5 for the zip sleeve highwaymans for me. Really a great style jacket imo. Doing the taper was a great call really makes it more of a standard and less boxy but not too trim fit.
