It is Taco Friday here in our household. This time with ground turkey, shredded cabbage, onion, red pepper.....on a hard shell taco.

I could and would eat tacos everyday.

It was a rainy day and night yesterday so it was grilled ham and cheese on sourdough bread and chicken noodle soup for the house of ToE.

Me too. It is the one that I would consider if I had to make that choice. We do multiple variations....hard shell or my wife makes great soft tortillas. Various meats, ground turkey, hamburger, chicken, beef or shrimp. TexMex with lettuce and cheese. Or taco truck with cabbage, onion and cillantro. Sooo, many variations. Pico de Gallo, guacamole, yougurt.........

We also try many variations. One of my favorite is lentil tacos. Lady ToE is magical in her creation. Great texture, smell, and taste. They are lighter on the stomach which allows me to eat even more than I normally would.

The german classic.
Either thick (or a little thinner) lentil soup with some well spiced (diced) blood sausage in.

Or plain lentil soup, where you put in some smaller slices of very basic (coarse and smoked) Mettwurst yourself in the hot soup, after dishing up. So the slices will "melt" well into the soup.

Sunday dinner out. A visit to our local craft brewery first then across the street to the new sushi joint.

Tortellini in a marinara sauce, with garlic bread, and a dinner salad with ranch dressing at a great little Italian restaurant. The owners are great people. The food is great. The atmosphere is great. Always a pretty darn good time.

Slow cooked pork tacos!

Another night with slow cooked shredded pork tacos last night and a couple of Gentleman Jacked and cokes. Tonight, Lady ToE and I decided to head out for dinner. A Guinness on tap and a plate full of tacos making it three nights in a row of tacos for dinner.

Stewed monkfish cheeks on ratatouille and polenta biscuits.
Tomme de Savoie and Comte with pineapple and melon cubes for dessert.
