How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Wolf…

Label from my no-doubt wool Guidemaster.

Your jacket is incredible. I’m psyched to read what you think of it. Special jacket for sure. Thick HH too.

To my untrained eye it looks identical to this Kit Karson. Was Kit Karson a maker or just a label?

I always thought maker, but now, not sure. I’ve been trying to dig a bit but nothing. The wolf and kit are very similar. Wolf did make MC jackets with a more traditional slant in the chest pocket, like this one. The label in your jacket perfectly matches the one in the wolf. I’ll find better pics. I’m starting to think Wolf was short lived but super busy. Either way, this will be among your best jackets. And you’ve got some great ones.

One more shot from me for a straight zip. I recently struck out on a too-large Grais, and this one also has that potential, but the allure of a classic 50's jacket in good shape combined with a reasonable price was too much. I will report further when it shows up. The zippers are from 1950s.

I’ve been peeking into the eBay jacket description for weeks, maybe more. Every time hoping the pit to pit got larger. I think you did well.

So I went to sleep thinking about purchasing an Eastman Leather Clothing A-1 on vinted for 599€ (650€ After shipping and buyer’s protection and stuff). Overthinking about it because it’s very nice but the small pockets and the knits didn’t convince me although it has a wonderful capeskin.

I also had a ELC Hartmann on my sights for a lower price 550€(580€) in the end with the website buyer’s protection+shipping and stuff like that).

This morning the A-1 was sold so I got the Hartmann instead in order not to miss out on this bargain. I basically have bought 3 ELC jackets over the years for less than one of them at full price, specially now with brexir and raised prices.

Imo, much, much better call than the A-1.

I’ve got another Lee Storm Rider Reproduction on the way from Butterscotch. This is the European version from Lee and it will join the three repros I already own, one from RMC, one from Lee Japan, and one from IH.
As you can see, I’ve got a bit of a thing for this style and I have a hard time saying no when I find a new one to buy.

Guys, please tell me what's wrong with my A-1?

Do I really need to spell it out for you? You got a perfect fit, that's what is wrong! lol

It is very hard to make this jacket looks good, and I think the jacket @willyto got is really interesting

Edit: Yep, I especially like the third pic with the jacket open, I can't remember seeing such a good fit

I think so too
I love the A-1 but it’s not as practical for a normal use. Can’t put a phone in the pockets, no inside pocket and the knits are a weak point.

I know about the pockets because I own a cossack from LVC that has the same problem.
I agree - the Hartmann looks ace!
I like this pun :)

It’s amazing but I don’t think it’s as practical as other jackets. If I can, I prefer to prevent carrying my stuff in my trousers pockets. If I’m wearing a jacket and I can’t carry anything it kind of loses it’s purpose.

How often do you wear it?

I’m kind of the other way in that if I’m wearing a jacket it will be taken off and put on multiple times in a day whereas my trousers tend to stay with me the whole time, so I leave my valuables in those pockets. I am a minimalist though and don’t wear tight trousers, so it’s not visually disturbing.
