How would you describe the deerskin compared to some of your other jackets?

How would you describe the deerskin compared to some of your other jackets?

In terms of temper it comes closest to my sheepskin Lewis Leathers. But it's thicker, spongier and more abrasion resistant than the LL.

It's nothing like horsehide or cow. Deerskin drapes like a wet blanket.
