What Jacket Are You Wearing Today?

Wow, just wow! This is exactly how I like my jackets to fit: slim and supple.

As you might remember, we ordered our Corsairs pretty much the same time. I decided to take the very basic route: black veg tan sheep, red quilted lining, black zipper tapes and not the tightest fit overall.

That was pretty much due to the hunt for the Flying Dominator, made only in brown, and which I knew would be tight-fitting. Well, I ended up parting my ways with it, and now when seeing these pictures I'm trying to find peace with my 'just basic black Corsair'.

It ain't easy.

Many thanks.
I took another look at your black one... I don't think you need to fret. It looks great and seems to fit really well. Should be easy to find peace :)

Finally got an A2 that I’m completely satisfied with. The fit is perfect with room to layer and move and the leather is beautiful. I’ll certainly be posting in show us your graining. Bought it here in the good ole FL classifieds.

That looks suspiciusly like my old Eastman "Slender" model. It should be a tag-size 42 How can it fit you so well?
Looks great on you! Please confirm that you have rarely seen a nicer hide...

I purchased from @Stone Lamar. It is a 42. I’m fighting at 5’10 165# right now.
I can confirm that this is the most beautiful hide. The depth is amazing. Generally i live very even graining but the slight variations here give it a really authentic feeling.

Levi Labeled Western Wear c. 60s/70s? I have seen this same jacket with a Woolen Mill label. I assume it was made for Levi using the Levi label. Beautiful Brown shades through out, great Western Yoke, nicely worked in hand warmer pockets.

Out on the porch for a dramatic Californian unboxing...

I meant to ask you about this one Terry. I have two in my watch list and seeing yours has pushed me to buy. I love these spearpoint blazers. Is it fairly warm? This shawl collar looks cool:
