Hi, great jacket in great condition! Yours is pictured in the 1957 Indian Accsessoires catalog. They just called it "Men´s black leather jacket".Produced for 2 years only.

You are right. These catalogs are a good source to identify accessoires. My focus is on vintage Indian riding gear and I have all cataloges from 1940 on.
