It looks fantastic on you. I’m still kicking around ideas for my next jacket, but one that I keep coming back to is having Johnson Leathers make me a LL L402 in a midweight horse or steer.

Thanks for saying that. I love looking at x-zips, but personally I never feel 100% comfortable in them.

The veg tan cow s really nice, if the horse is anywhere as good... :)

I am planning to order a Universal Racer Mk1 (hesitated a long time between Mk1 and 2), and had decided on veg cow, until they told me they are sourcing veg horse. So need to check samples and decide :)
I have the Mk1 and have plans to get the Mk2 1930s version sometimes down the road. You cant go wrong with either. The Mk1 is really different from all other cross zips. It kinda has a pouch effect at the stomach due to the huge overlap lapels, yet it doesn't choke you at the neck when you are in motoring position and jacket is fully closed. I am wearing mine on my sofa fully closed while typing this. Haha...

Where can one get that kinda chain for the wallet?

Hmmm... honestly probably Etsy. Or look for local art shows or conventions that would have vendors. You are searching for chainmail jewelry or chain maille jewelery.

Mine was made as a 16 inch necklace as I purchased it. I had the seller add some smaller rings to each end and remove her necklace hardware so I could add my own hardware. It is titanium. I added sterling silver hardware from ebay for my own use.

It has to be stamped to be legal. But sure, there is always risk.

You could make it yourself too. Honestly not too difficult.

They can sell you everything you need and have guides etc.

Also could help you source a wonderful silver chain. Ralph Lauren made some sterling silver necklaces in the 1980s, that were 100% based on vintage pocket watch chains. Extremely high quality, 3 or 4oz of sterling silver, it is very heavy, and 16 inches long, every link soldered closed. You just have to change one end hardware to make it usable, which a jewelery store that does jewelry repair can do. Prices are usually pretty realistic compared to buying a purpose made one.

Here are two current auctions. Prices vary. Patience will help you find one at a comfortable price. They will last a lifetime.

You just gave me an idea!!! I looked for a pocket watch chain on local classifieds, something that never would've occurred to me on my own, and I immediately found this, for $20. Coins are silver, chain isn't but I don't mind, it's really neat and cheap! So thank you for the idea! :D

Theringlord has great stuff but they're in US so same as anything ever that's nice, it's simply not available to me.

And here are a couple of my new Thedi bought from @Marc mndt last week.
Some things i like, the leather is great, the pattern is very good, stitching is very neat.
Some things i am not a fan of, the fact that the sleeves are single stitched to the armholes looks fragile and cheap to me.
I also hate his branding, i counted 5 different "Thedi" labels and two big T logos spread out over the entire jacket, IMO it looks trashy...
I would expect that from brands like G-Star, Diesel, etc, but i think it looks cheap on something the caliber of a Thedi.
To me a single tag is much classier, i dislike overly branded items.
I don't see myself getting another Thedi, but i am glad to finally have a jacket made by Zeus himself, it is my favourite of his designs and i htink it fits me pretty well.

At least the branding on the Thedi is all on the inside. What's on the outside looks great.

And an OG Cal i own that was clearly the inspiration for that Thedi:
