How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Yes I agree and there’s certainly at least a few pieces I should’ve done that with. For the most part I don’t have any selling regrets, certain styles have run their course. I don’t see myself going back to M/C styles for example. But...to not have a cross zip of any kind....that’s a crime against oneself.

Non, no, no. This approach has left me with so many jackets over the years that "won´t wear" has become "can´t wear" all of them. I have started to sell some pieces only recently and feel immense relief about that.

Yeah I get that side too. I do feel I’ve kind of figured out what I prefer and truthfully I don’t need to have as many options. Couple gaps to fill and I’ll be good. The one thing I really want out of the next jacket is a genuine vintage feel. I’m really drawn to the jerky but I’ll wait to get a sample to decide. Jerky just looks like true vintage to me.
I’m not weight obsessed anymore. I owe that to 5 star. For this one I want it to be insane in the grain:

The leather selection is crucial for this type of jacket I feel. Too thin and it looks sloppy, too soft it will drape in the wrong way. I feel like this style needs a bit of rigidity to it.

This is just insane... Since I joined this forum I have gone completely bananas! This is my collection so far, and now I have a RMC Buco j-100 and a Thedi made to measure cafe racer coming. Where is the way out of this rabbit hole :D

Great collection! There is no way out....as there are also Freewheelers, Lost Worlds, Field Leathers and many more to discover!

Working my way way through what will undoubtedly be my final bootlegger order. At this point I am only sure of these things.
1. It won’t be CXL
2. It will have a quilted liner. Petrol blue or Evergreen.
3. Snap button cuffs
Try the black jerky hh ask for extra grainy

Three jackets are due to arrive in the next three weeks and more pics to follow then:

- Thedi Cross zip made of olive green deerskin and removable shearling vest and detachable shearling collar
- Brimaco brown 60's Cafe Racer
- Shangri-La Heritage black Type III suede jacket - due to the fact that they manufacture in Italy, they are a small company (price-wise they are slightly below Aero/SB at 640€/$780) and as they offer a more modern interpretation of a Type III (have I ever mentioned that my wife likes Italian fashion and Italian style in general...) which probably is a good addition to my Aero Type III rust suede goat. The good thing is that if it doesn't fit or if I doesn't like their style, quality, jacket construction I can return it as I bought it from a German webshop.

I'll post pics once they arrive....after receipt of these three jackets I'm definitely done as I also need space in my wardrobe for other stuff other than leather jackets ;)
Cheers,
Robbie

That is awesome! I actually just ordered the Thedi Cafe racer jacket in the same olive deer skin a week ago. Super excited about it and really looking forward to see your cross zip!

That never stopped anybody at TFL before...;).
Believe me or not, I'm done now unless I sell other useless stuff from my closet or from my wife's closet for sure ;)

New Years resolution obliterated!
Well done :)
Was there a New Years resolution....I think I've never told anyone of my ****** dementia...

Thanks - can't wait to receive it (Just sent out a reminder to Theodoros). Your green deerskin Cafe Racer sounds also quite exciting! I hope the waiting time will be rather short!
