I did..

'zact same jacket that I have just "restored",well eucalyptus woolwashed washed , zipper lubed and re-treated.
Tagged a "size 44". Arrived in Australia landed at under $100 all paid.
Sadly too small AKA "neat" for this corpulent daddy-O..I can get it on and zipped up but "leather sausage" springs to mind.
The Mrs says tactly , "That's too small for you" haha...
SO it's offski to my brother in Tasmania , a mountain biking hill walking type , it'll fit him fine.
Early "Crimbo" present ( Christmas) to him from me. He will wear it well.
For some reason I can't post photos to this thread now ?

@Downunder G Man - I’ve been watching this one for a few weeks and combined with This being about the least amount of money I’ve ever spent on a jacket. Figured it was worth a shot.. if it doesn’t work out for me and your interested I’ll send it downunder. You and your Bro can be twins

Aye , "bruddas from the same mudda" haha...He is 4 years my junior (I am the eldest of 6 ,Irish mother Scottish father)

yes it was the low $ ask that hooked me in on this "44". Quite a good build quality , side waist zippers and all.

He will love it , he is a biker of old. He bought a 1973 Kawasaki 900 Z1A in California in 1988 , rode it across to Boston via Canada then shipped it back to me in Scotland for restoration. He kept that bike until he emigrated to Australia in 1997.

Apologies for the "thread hijack" folks !

Just bought this Harris Tweed Schott Perfecto. Maybe it's somewhat odd but I think it looks really cool and I could totally pull this off.

Got my RMC jacket yesterday and will be posting a thread on that shortly. However, I also managed to win a Yahoo Japan auction for this beauty which I will expect to come in a few weeks (hopefully before Christmas.) This is the Freewheelers lot 667 which is a Bullhide suede jacket. It looks more like roughout that suede, but either way it looks great. I never would have thought that I would own a suede jacket. It was the most impulsive purchase I think I have ever made. It's from 2012 and I didn't even know that Freewheelers ever made this thing. Mine is in pretty used condition, but the moment I saw it, I said "I NEED THIS!!!" and bid on it. The measurements look excellent for me- nice and short with short sleeves as well.

@dudewuttheheck I was also thinking to buy one of these lot 667 on Buyee about one year ago but then decided to go for an Aero Type III in their rust suede goat hoping it was the right decision (I'll receive it next week) as the owner Ken said that the rust goat is the best hide he's ever handled before and due to the fact that I prefer jean jacket buttons instead of stud buttons. Anyway, can't wait to see fit pics from you of your RMC and then from this Freewheelers one! The bullhide looks rather thick/heavy and substantial.

Nice! Well it looks like we'll be able to compare both of our jackets soon :)
