Even if a person never lifted so much as a pencil...these are drain pipe sleeves!

These indeed do seem too narrow, at least in the upper part of the sleeve. What's it called, biceps area?
Got a Nylon Schott Nixon for winter, European line as far as I know, made in the land of smiles. Outer shell is nicely tough but not tightly enough woven or sealed so the inner padding starts „creeping through“. Not bad anyway, Mr. Bezos asked just 60,- bucks for it.

These sleeves look pretty tight indeed. Have no idea what the designers have in mind, developing a workers jacket and so many other stuff with sleeves to fit an undernourished schoolboy.

Lol, land of smiles. Mine is proudly made in the US of A. I got mine from this chick who was asking $15 for it. It was listed as a woman's jacket in a "pearl" green color. Had to lie I was gettin' it for my girlfriend. Wanted to sell it right away but I just like it too much.

Latest after this coming winter that Schott will go to the Red Cross anyway. The Pike Brothers N-1 is going to replace it, which is not that Far East made, in the land of Baklavas...:D

Some of you may notice that it looks a lot like the one JMax posted earlier today and I promise you that is no accident! I have coveted this jacket since I first saw his posted here a couple years ago and today I have my very own. Super happy with the fit and the feel of this one, i’m on cloud nine my brothers.
Sweet jacket, congrats. It’s like the deluxe version of the normal Chopper!

This ones in the classifieds but I’m second guessing myself. Sell or Keep? Slightly baggy but i think it’s just the old Harley sportster pattern 42. I also think I might hate myself if this ones gone. When it’s gone it’s gone...

At some point, vtg jackets had weird sleeves like that. Or cut. They were partially perfect, partially too large but I like the look. I'd keep it for sure, myself.

Jin,
Octagon is what Vanson calls this color leather. It is a bit lighter than their standard comp. weight but still pretty substantial. Out of the leathers that you listed I would say it is probably closest to CXL as it has a nice waxy feel to it.

Thanks Carlos!
This collar is specifically made for the Chopper and it is real fur. I’m sure you could get one for your jacket and you would just have to add the appropriate buttons to secure it.

Thank you. Waxy equals pull up effect if I'm not mistaken so this is bound to develop nicely. Congratulations on your new jacket!

Yet another Harley ride north of the CBD today. Vanson Ike in competition steerhide the choice "du jour".
Proved to be a bit warm on the way back as it hit 27C before the seabreeze kicked in. Warm at the red lights particularly !
SO this will probably be the last daytime wear of this for a few months, it will become an "evening" riding jacket.
Yeah yeah same snoozarama backdrop , only with a warming easterly and no swell today.

Yesterday morning Bravestar 21.5 oz with a Woolrich vest I picked up recently. The vest was surprisingly nice and only $40 from eBay.

Today with the Schott Duke. Trying out a new decidedly non-western cap. Feels good with the chill breeze we have going.

Is this a different shaped collar, or standard Aero shape?
Looks great either way! That double zip really helps with the body shape too.

This is a standard and strange x Simmons Bilt. I believe it’s based on the roadster? I’m not too sure. I haven’t been wearing it as much as t deserves. Super nice jacket and despite being relatively short that little split with the two way zip makes sitting down in the car much more pleasant when zipped.
