Regarding the measurements ... it is best to point out to Shawn in every email that the observance of the measurements is very important. Even at the risk of annoying. Otherwise there is a risk that the dimensions will be seen as recommendations rather than specifications.
It is also helpful to specify exactly how to measure. So e.g. Jacket flat, seam to seam etc.
If you keep this in mind, you get a very good price/performance ratio at 5 *.

I think they have black, seal and russet.
The seal ist very dark, almost black (my preferred color), the russet is more chocolate.

Hey guys! First of all many thanks for your positive feedback. After @Monitor 's and @Carlos840 's stories about recent fit and quality issues I was kind of nervous and now I'm more than happy with the result! To answer @Will Zach 's question - I do have a matching jacket now for my new Clinch Jodhpur horsebutt boots @jacketjunkie What about the olive green LW Bedford (still unworn)? Here are more fit pictures of the LW Leathertogs and the Clinch Jodhpur (these are so stiff and heavy...best boots I've owned so far). Stu told me that he only has a couple of Crown zippers left - very massive and totally different from the one I have on my other two LW jackets.

I just asked Shawn for all the samples of heavy goat they have with an eye towards a Cossack. I saw a light yellow jacket in heavy goat on their website, as well as distressed heavy goat in russet. Not sure if they stock those hides, but will report when I get the samples.
