Yesterday afternoon,
"Cow Lot" private label (probably Resistol) Beaver Fifty......OR Clone....It is really thin felt, and I pulled the liner (which is kept safe of course...) so, good for warmer days. (While I really do have some nice hemp and straw hats....I REALLY prefer wearing felt!!!

Cannot help but to like that one....Reminds me a LOT of my late 40's 3X Stetson Longhorn.........it has big bones too....

Thanks, Mark. I’d like this 3X a lot more of it was from the the late ‘40s.
I recently reshaped it from an outsized fedora back to the western it was meant to be.

Park Plaza Hats “Panacool”

This was part of a five hat deal I made a while back. I finally got around to shaping it and this is my first time wearing it. It’s a lower grade hat, but I’m hard on straw hats so it works well for me. A new brand to me as well.

New style for me. Never formed a nice straw before. Kinda fun getting done and I like the end result.

Although mine was an open crown, flat brim, Resistol blank I did get some help here...

Going out to lunch with a colleague who retired a few years ago. Always nice to catch up and hear stories from the old guard. Rocky Mountain Hatters is my hat of choice for the 1 1/2 minutes I’ll be out of air conditioning.
