I think it does shift a bit in different lighting.. goes to more reddish. All the way to almost matching the felt in low light.

Wore my old 3x Stetson today. I’ve been trying my hand at sewing my own ribbons. I like to change the look from time to time. I make them to be taken off, not sewn to the hat.

Way to put lipstick on the porcine hat Bob! Doing your own Optimo is definitely a skill I would like to master.
It makes you wonder about the kind of guy in c1959 who wandered into the hat shop and was drawn to that ribbon. Absolutely cool colorway on that high end Stetson. Nice find.

It has been warm and sunny all week, but for the next few days, we have some felt weather. Not cold, but too wet for straw. Drive by Graduation Party for a friend's daughter today. Venturing out of the Casa Covid in my Borsalino Featherweight. Grabbed a quick few images from the archives. I'm not presentable yet, only 2 cups of coffee as of this post.
