I love the subtleness of the button snap closure. Larger buttons can be overwhelming for this style and look costumey. This is a really great design.

I should add that the angle of the pockets are really unique as well.

Love it. They never shy away from heavy grain and they match the panels to perfection. Look at those sleeves with matching heavy grain on top and it fades to more subtle closer to the bottom.

I actually like the little belt, but I’d want it fully removable, and sleeve straps to match. This jacket is a bit of a Harrington mish-mash, no?

Sleeve straps would compliment the belt design well. They missed that one.

I like the design. The accent is on the hem but as the belt is tiny, the jacket is still well-proportioned. I find the flap pockets also quite elegant. Would definitely consider buying one.

Sorry for confusion...post edited.The pictured jacket is a Lewis (although different pockets than the countryman).

Lewis Countryman is a seriously nice jacket. I dig even the knitted parts in the waistband.

love this Lewis, it's no longer on their website but The Stronghold still has one, maybe Lewis japan still offers it. The issue with the design is that the construction detail and raw material don't go together. The neck hanger bar is attached to the back panel via repeated bar tab stitching, no leather is suitable for this but when it's sheep, it just destroys the back panel, that's why I had to pass on the jacket in the store...I called Lewis asking for a hanger bar delete, they say it's ok, which solves the problem.

Been looking at Japanese designers recently, there's some really cool stuff out there. Repro stuff's getting a bit tedious, whenever someone new pops up, all they do is a rehash of something already done a hundred times but there is still some exciting stuff on the market.
