Took a vacation day today and hanging out with Kitty on the patio doing some backyard photography. This **** is starting to get to me. We’ve been very hectic at work because of all this. Wearing the Cavanagh with the Mule Kick in the A$$ crease, as Bowen @AbbaDatDeHat so eloquently puts it.

GREAT hat Tim. That bash reminds me of a toe-pincher coffin, you know I love that. You take very good pictures too, I really enjoy them. That critter is creepy as all get out though. Glad it ain’t crawlin on your leg!

Thanks Alan. Yeah that think looks pretty brutal, I guess it’s safe from predators. I don’t know if it shows as well on the downsized image, but those are some gnarly spikes....

Wearing a 4X Bark Brown Resistol that I converted sometime last year. It started out as a size 7 Western and I blocked it up to a 7 1/4 to fit me and converted it to a tall and straight crowned fedora...

Got an email from my wife and her sister saying they wanted homemade soft pretzels. Me being the family cook, as well as being bored out of my mind, View attachment 225720 View attachment 225721 I jumped on it. They’re still stuck working every day, essential as they are. Made the delivery in my black cherry. It’s a beautiful day out there.

Pre-Stetson Mallory Dallas for a doctor's appointment today (annual physical).

Thought I was going to be off quarantine last week. But last week when I went back to work I was told to stay away for another 4 weeks. Not because of me per se. My daughter (who still lives at home) and her fiancé (who I see several times a week) are both in the medical field. She works at an imaging clinic and he is a paramedic on an ambulance. So both of them come in contact with persons with COVID-19. Therefore my work considers me at a higher risk of exposure.

Sounds like a terrific day with measurable accomplishments. Cheers for the day and terrific hat pics. Darn them Yahoos! Must be the same Yahoos who came blasting thru on their mountain bikes during my mid morning hike watching the local owl. Darn yahoos!

Decided to celebrate the end of week one of 30 Days to 30 Hats with this late 40s or early 50s Cavanagh Equestrian Derby/Bowler.

Today....well yesterday actually but i was too bushed to post up.
Day two fishing. Sund with my Son Mond with my youngest daughter, Willow’s Mom. Yes, i’m wearing the same hat and outfit, my fishing attire and Maddie got to sport Pop’s old lucky Camo-Cabela’s.
Hat worked for her, i mostly enjoyed watching that “little girl” come back out that gave me so much joy over the years.
Was a glorious and gorgeous day.
