That is the best looking FW jacket imho. Absolutely beautiful jacket. What do you think about the hookless? I’ve only zipped my HWM a time or two and while it’s easy (ish) to zip I find undoing it is not all that fun. The banded waist seems to be where the struggle gets real (at least against cxl).Freewheelers Mulholland

Yes, emerald green and quilted.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Must be a different jacket. No issues with any of the original zippers on mine.Yes, green and quilted. I had taken possession of the same jacket from an eBay purchase about a year or so ago, but sold it. It had a broken zipper chain (or two—can’t remember). Loved the jacket; appropriate for high the trousers of the period.
Did you purchase this within the past year and was there a missing zipper pull (or two)?

Thedi Buffalo.
Horse hide Colimbo.
Stellar jacket! How is the quality compared to other brands you are familiar with?

Thedi Buffalo.
Thanks for the useful information. Btw. very nice jacket and perfect fit! This is my first jacket from a Japanese jacket maker. I am almost %100 sure it was made by Rainbow Country for Colimbo.
Hide is nice and I assume it is Shinki but I am unsure. I would say quality of construction compares to Thedi and seam stitching is laser accurate as one would expect. Nice details like a buttoned flap on one of the inside chest pockets and one of the outside pockets has a cool, smaller, 2nd leather pocket inside.
The hide on my Thedi Hercules in brown horse seems a bit thicker but is more soft to the touch than the Colimbo which seems just a bit more stiff to the touch. This will change once it is broken in I am sure. I bought the Colimbo as used but honestly I think it was just old or dead stock as it seems new.
I think my Langlitz is my favourite when it comes to the sheer robust feel of the jacket. I feel I could come out of a car crash unscathed. Lol. My only complaint with the Langlitz would be lack of available lining options. The nylon type lining is a bit heavy for my liking but that is a miniscule complaint. Cotton drill would be nice but Langlitz is made for riding a motorcycle. The heavier nylon they use must have some structural or safety importance related to motorcycles I'd think. I would feel very safe riding my motorcycle with the Langlitz.
A new Thedi Shawl collar I received a little while ago may become a favourite but I won't know until I start to wear it when cool weather hits mid September. It is a nice and thick cow hide that should be pretty nice when broken in.
My gripe with most if not all jacket manufacturers is lack of underarm footballs or gussets. I feel arm mobility could increase drastically with a small addition of a gusset (Thedi I am looking at you here). My Langlitz is a dream to move around in. Zero arm restriction when raising my arms up and moving around.
The Colimbo is cool and I'd buy another leather jacket from them like a Stockman's coat, which has the underarm gussets.
