I am waiting to see just what a "Beaver 50" is.....seller said it is soft and NOT stiff....We shall see.....crown is a little low but it has a 2 3/4 brim.....it is an OR clone.......Privately labeled on sweat & liner "The Cow Lot"....no idea who made this one....

Yeah I visited their website after I got mine. Don't believe it's quite the same. I'll be interested to hear your thoughts when it comes in. Maybe a whole lot like my Churchill 50.

Dorfman Pacific Cotton Aussie hat. I've been looking for a new beater hat for hiking. I don't want to rough up my Willis & Geiger too much. The Redwoods trip took a toll on the leather sweatband, and I don't want to ruin my HJ Poet. My straw Scala Panama is starting show age in the straw.

Thanks! I've upped my exercise regimen quite a bit these days, and keeping the sun off my face and ears while I'm soaking up the Vitamin D and staying cool is of paramount interest.

I just purchased a new Stetson to add to my collection, I currently have a new open road in silverbelly and a new cavalry hat. I really like the cavalry hat it kind of looks to me like an uncreased open road. I found this stetson conservation officers hat on Ebay and couldn't resist. It says it was unworn in the box purchased from an estate sale.

It looks like the hatband is in the box in one of the photos. $350 canadian is like $250 USD and I bet it could be had for about $250 or $275 want me to email him? haha
