Nice jacket good to see vintage getting some love

At over $1500 worth of Love! I was surprised. Looks to be near mint. Look at those French seems, what a beauty. Although it does not have a Rough Wear clothing label, I would guess it is. They used that inner collar label on some of their jackets.

Why would a seller censor the brand name? Shady business. But in any case, it's a reproduction of an Escape from New York jacket, anyway. Who made the original isn't known.

It is almost an exact copy but it is not a Thedi. I cant read the label very well..but looks like it says Comphey (?).

They are made in China by different makers so there are variations on the colour, black and different shades of the one in the link.
All the ones I know about are cowhide, some have Talon chain zip pulls, some have YKK regular or chain zip pulls on the pocket.
Some are oiled leather some are not.

I like the Thedi version of this style in washed buffalo as most here know and could care less who made the first original design. Another color with zip is on the way..!!
