With a little sun peeking through the clouds I was successfully tempted to wear my NW Hat Co Silverbelly/Old Copper fedora. It was a birthday present 2 years ago and still a favorite. Paired with a Hawaiian shirt and a leather jacket. Fun dress for grocery shopping, hehehe...

I’ve seen a similar color combo with feather on a Stetson in the past, and it’s really striking! I Really dig that “rose petal” feather against the dark grey.

Yes the BSHW is one in a style we discussed a while back. It's not that the Heather felt is hotter, it's just that in my view it looks more like something for fall & winter. I don't think I'll be getting a green or tan one anytime soon.

It’s very blustery today in North Texas. The winds are 30 plus mph. Last night was much worse. I have two fedoras with narrow brims for just this reason. Tonight for work it’s a vintage Christys’ Wildfowl sporting a 2 1/4” brim. Love the green/brown felt mixture on this.

I wore my new Vagabond King today. It is still quite large for me, even with all the padding, but I am glad I bought it anyway. Really light, obedient felt.
