Nice old Nocona's but too small for me.
Yeah, Bob I saw those and I think you're right about the price. The shafts on those boots aren't far from becoming dust.
I sold and shipped off a couple pair this week. Every time I think I'm done buying, someone posts something like this.

Vintage El Dorado's in black cherry for work today.
That's a nice color and I like the way the vamp and heel counter are cut where they meet on those old Eldorado's.

A newer pair of Dan Post boots. I prefer a little wider boot but these feel pretty good.
If I’m not mistaken Dan Post is made by Justin now?
Good looking pair. Dan Post is put out by McRae Industries which is the parent Co. of Laredo, John Deere boots and some others.

Another pair of vintage El Dorado boots. This is only pair I have with a rounded toe (although I used to have a pair with a somewhat squared toe - the only El Dorado's I didn't like).

I've always kept this because it brings back memories for me. The shoe/boot shop in our small town had the machine that X-rays kid's feet to check the growth of the bones until someone decided exposure to radiation wasn't good for young kids. I can remember standing there seeing the bones in my feet.
Remember sizing my feet the same way at J. C. Penney. Maybe that's why I have bunions.
