Well, he's certainly before my time, too. However, I am familiar with Bruno's protege, Larry Zbyszko, who adopted that name as a tribute to Stan. Wrasslin' history fascinates me.

And I am unfamiliar with that movie, so I'll have to check it out.

Well, we're talking about a hat, not one of your fine guitars. I wouldn't play my RI made Guild DV 6 out in the rain but I have been caught in a down pour in my Stetson 100 with no ill effects. Your CD can take it.

When it rains, I grab a Campdraft first - rain only makes them better! Not on purpose, but I've been caught in downpours where rain was dripping thru my hat and no ill effects.

So, here's the thing: It's been raining like crazy, and I'm still very nervous about wearing a quality hat out in weather like this. So, I took a step backward and donned a hat (cap) that I don't worry about surviving the weather.

Tell me, how do you take an Akubra Campdraft and wear it out in the weather? I keep reading how they stand up and I know that's partly what a hat is designed for, but I still worry about the effects of the weather... View attachment 116207

Wear it as usual. When you get inside knock off any extra moisture off the hat (give it a shake, dab it with paper towel, smack it on a wall) make sure its in the shape you like and leave it on its crown to dry. DO NOT FORCE DRY! that's it.
