When I first saw this sign (online) unlit, I thought, wow, that's a whole lot of neon work going on in the pizza chef

But, then, I hunted out a lit version and it all made sense:



That's how you do a neon sign with confidence.

They now have a full-fledged gift shoppe in a little building off to the side of the diner, complete with a "Get Your Picture Taken As The Moxie Man" cut-out. The entire Maine experience in one stop.

Cool sign, but there seems to be a double irony at work here: (1) a candle company advertising with neon, hmm, and (2) half the sign isn't lit from a company that, essentially, is selling its ability to provide light.
