I was wearing the Cattleman today when I went to drop off some limbs at the county mulch pile. They were burning some loose debris, so the hat picked up some ash flying round the place. Sure smells good and makes me exciting about the fall and some evening sitting round the fire pit. Now I'm off to brush my hat.

That's a sweet Lid Bama !!! Combines well with the gray haired moustache !!

I was supposed to have all gray beard and hair already or, at least, 50/50, from my mom's side everyone gets gray hair by their 30's, but I got my dad's side that have very little gray hair..

This is a gorgeous hat Alan, it looks dark navy in pics, i'm assuming its black?,is it 30s....the crown seems fairly high with typically narrow brim.

Thanks! The hat is navy with a darker navy ribbon. Steve would be a better source for the dating... my guess would be later 1930s - 1940.
