I see where Leonardo DiCaprio has bought the movie rights to "Devil...". I will read it.I've read two of his "historical novels" and have enjoyed them. He normally takes historical events and juxtaposes them with a novelization of historical figures (in this case, Holmes and the architect for the 1893 World's Fair) to tell his story. The other I've read is In the Garden of Beasts, which is about the new US Ambassador to Germany settling in to Berlin as Germany's WWII-era leader rises to power.
Still need to read the one about the Lusitania.

Depending on the subject matter I generally like historical novels. "Ride With the Devil" ("Woe to Live On" before the movie) is a good one for the subject matter.
Just got back from my meeting.Ever read Allan Eckart?

Never heard that...interesting. And I agree on the stache. I've always thought he looks like someone in our modern times, but I've never been able to put a name to it.They say he could have been Jack the Ripper.
Nice mustache though.
Garden of Beasts was a great book. I'll have to read the other one, it's in my local library.I've read two of his "historical novels" and have enjoyed them.
