I have the same jacket in size 40 (in red brown - russet) and the sleeves fit me perfectly, but I'm 5'9. To be honest, the jacket is a little long in the body (at least it is for me), but the sleeves are on the smaller side of a size 40. It is a very well built jacket - quite heavy, and the leather is beautiful. Very grainy. I've given thought to picking up the same jacket in dark brown.
