Reading this thread makes me feel like travelling ahead in time to see the patina of my jackets in the future! On second thoughts, I think I would prefer to see them slowly age through the years.

Here comes an early Aero 50's halfbelt with replaced lining + the old battered Real Mccoy b3 with some restoration done by Aero, Shhhh don't tell Holly i mentioned that! They came in the wrong order I guess!!!

The leather jacket that had best aged in my collection was the A-2 Bronco I sent to pawineguy a few days ago. Now I am left with only one that is showing any significant age - my Teamster. The first pic was taken just after I got it, and the last two taken today with my marginal camera (IPhone 6) under overcast skies. The brown FQHH is heavy but has softened significantly over time.

I've had my ELC A-2 for about a year now and I'm wearing it quite regularly. Horse hide takes some time to break in, but I already like the grain a lot.

Thank you! I'm working on it... It still looks rather new from a distance... (see pictures below)

Well, that Guinness pin.. It's "non-regulation", of course. First, I thought about adding an ACME emergency whistle. Some WWII pilots had them on their collars. But I'm not sure if I'd like to have one dangling there all the time... So I tied that copper Guinness button to the loop, as a personal good luck charm. It was part of a wristband I bought in the souvenir shop of Guinness Brewery in Dublin some years ago. I think Ireland was quite a pretty sight to USAAF pilots after crossing the Atlantic in the 1940s... Also, it is the farthest I've travelled as yet, so it fits.
