Unfortunately, you are probably right! The only old name to be resurrected and mass marketed and stay in business, is Triumph . Sir John Bloor should be commended!

Saw this earlier today and thought it would be quite cool to see maybe a modernized version of this. Maybe a hybrid. But the interior space will definitely have to be re-visualized. The single seat in front with two rear jump seats will never fly. Makes it more like a military vehicle than a family car.

I didn't get the impression that they are trying to build it to market and sell it, but just to build it as a passion and a way to honor the Tucker past. If not and they think this could be a viable business, it could be one of the worst business plans ever.

The same people built Tucker repros several years ago, with fibreglass bodies and Cadillac front wheel drive power trains in the back. I don't know how many they sold, if any, but it is a legit company and they are capable of building the car.

I don't think they have any intention of selling this latest project. They just want to build one.
