:eusa_clapYes, I really like the Kroger make-your-own-6-pack idea. It is a lot easier to toss out half of a bad beer than it is 5 1/2 beers. Encourages me to be a lot more adventurous.
The Lazy Magnolia Southern Pecan will vary a bit based upon the available supply of pecans, but is generally still good. The Jefferson Stout is much more consistent since that flavor is easier to manage.

I tend to gravitate towards dark beer, and I use various sites (with reviews) to help me with the purchase.
To be honest, the Newcastle Cabbie Black Ale is the best beer I've tasted in quite some time, besides Guinness Extra Stout.
Unfortunately the NC is a limited run.
Maybe with enough support, they'll make it year round.
