I watched Season One's episodes two and three yesterday - and PBS is broadcasting episode 4 on Sunday night. Cannot WAIT. Of course, if I could, I would watch all of the episodes of Season 2 on ITV's website, but I don't live in the UK.

I thought the 2hr Christmas special was lovely. Not as many annoying ads as the series and an actual plot (rather than the usual Christmas 'specials' that are nice but move the plot on not one jot).

Proper Christmas entertainment and perfect for the post dinner slump on the couch.

I am so completely hooked on this series...very well done in every aspect. I wouldn't be surprised to see an explosion of fiction set during this period. Trends seem to follow trends in the entertainment world...

Please let us know if you hear when it will be airing when you find out. All I have seen is episode 1 & 2 of season 1.

Season 2 begins airing as part of Masterpiece Classic on American PBS network affiliates next week, Sunday, January 8.

Exact broadcast and rerun dates/times vary by individual stations. (On the flagship station, New York's WNET/13, it's on Sunday night at 9pm.) There are seven episodes.

Did anyone happen to watch "Edwardian House", a BBC "reality" television show about modern-day people living as Edwardians? I ask because the manor in Downtown Abby looks very much like the house they used for Edwardian House and I'm wondering if they are indeed the same.
