The coat is beautiful and seem to be very well made. I'm really really pleased. The blouse is nice too. I think I'm going to order a skirt too, pretty soon.

I can't sew and am a super plus size gal (Okay, I am fat, lol) so I have been looking for someplace to order plus size clothes. My waist is over 10 inches smaller than my hips so ready made plus sizes just won't work for the most part.
I contacted heartmycloset and they said they will do custom plus sizes for $20 extra. Pretty good deal, but I really need to learn to sew.

I shopped a great new vintage-inspired clothing store in New Orleans today. Ragdoll on Magazine street its a lot like Trashy Diva with mostly vintage-inspired and a little real vintage but at a lower price point. Don't think they have any plans for a website but definatly worth a look if you are in the neighborhood.

I got a great vintage-inspired navy blue dress with a scalloped neckline at Ragdoll, its just perfect for the vintage blue velvet scalloped edged hat I picked up from a vintage dealer friend last week. See new dress and vintage hat below.

She dresses in a Fortyish/fiftyish style and her designs seems to reflect that as well. I was wondering if any of you have any thoughts on her designs?

Imho very beautiful designs... all manufactured in Germany and only made of high quality fabrics with european (mostly italian) origin.

Very cute outfits, she shouldn´t have problems promoting her work, esp. in the rockabilly scene. Looks better than the more recent Lena Hoschek collections. I also love the fact that it´s made in Germany and not somewhere in eastern Europe where it´s cheaper and still her clothes aren´t much more expensive than Stop Staring etc.
Btw, I just noticed that I´ve seen her Winter collection somewhere before. The photos in front of the house were great from a photographic point of view.
