Ironside This is the original Quincy Jones theme from the pilot - the doors you hear at the beginning are the ambulance doors closing as Ironside is rushed through the Sonoma County farm country to the hosipital.

Lawman Cool theme, cool show, I think the only half-hour western produced by the Warner Bros studios for ABC in the 50's. Similar vocal style used for the hour-long oaters like Bronco, Cheyenne, Sugarfoot, and, of course, Maverick.

Wagon Train One of those sweeping, majestic Western themes that evokes mountains, rivers, and plains. One of the first TV shows I remember watching as a kid.

Jonny Quest - This is, hands down, the best action/adventure theme ever. The trombone runs on this are so fast I can't understand how they got them down as well as they did. This version does not have the sound effects from the montage of scenes shown during the show's opening.

Danger Man had two incarnations and three themes (this one is from the first incarnation, 1960-62 half-hour episodes). The later hour-long Danger Man series were re-titled Secret Agent for US TV broadcast, with a new theme by Johnny Rivers to replace the rather wimpy imho High Wire.

The first season Happy Days theme was the best, and one of the greatest openings ever. The music, the montage of scenes (I'd never noticed that it's Ralph Malph kissing the girl at the drive-in when they fall out of the car!), just wonderful. Many think Happy Days jumped the shark when the Fonz jumped the shark (hence the expression "jumping the shark" for any series having passed its prime at a certain moment), but when they changed the theme. Just my one-fiftieth of a dollar...
