Anybody have anything to say about the quality of these shoes?

They're finished a touch better than Peal & Co and priced accordingly. Rather than pay the Ben Silver full price, I'd wait to catch an Edward Green sale. But of course the best value out of Northampton is Peal on sale.

For some reason I suddenly find I "need" some burgundy wingtips. I considered Alden cordovan but really am not fond of the shape as I remember it. I may go to Brooks Brother and have a look. Peal and Co. and Edward Green do not seem to make burgundy shoes ( I gather they are not so popular in some quarters).

I don't understand what you are questioning. (I do understand Edward Green would probably make any color of shoe I want, but that's not what i am interested in.)

Received the shoes this am. Don't know yet if the quality is anything to gush over but the styling is sweet, as is the color. Makes the Allen Edmonds Fifth Avenue I was wearing look like clodhoppers
