Truly a bummer!
I don't think this really qualifies as a soft drink (I don't really like soft drinks) but this is a close for me as it gets - Fentimans Mandarin & Seville Orange ****** - really refreshing:
Soft drinks may have different definitions, but I was taught that soft drinks are a beverage not containing alcohol so hard drinks are the alcoholic ones. Sodas / pop as well as ice tea, fruit drinks and punches would fall into the soft drink realm.
Ah ok so - I suppose growing up I always thought of soft drinks as sugary drinks - Coca Cola, 7Up, Lilt - that sort of thing. I suppose in the last few years drinks like Fentimans and Iced Teas have really taken off - they weren't around when I was growing up.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. I guess it has to do with the alternates to sodas in your area. Asa kid we had a variety of non-soda soft drinks that came in bottles and cans at the market.
Wow, that looks really good!

Just out of interest - what were the flavours of the non-soda drinks you could have?.
