Thanks guys! This color is really hard to describe. In some lights it looks like a dark tan, in some it looks like a light green tan, and then in other lights it looks almost brown. Its getting hard to coordinate outfits to match the hat because its always changing. I love it anyways.

Borsalino Alessandria from the fabled Rogers Peet firm, with original box.


Color: Avorio(Ivory).
Crown: 4-3/4" at the front, as creased.
Ribbon: 3/8", with wind-trolley.
Brim: 2-5/8"-2-3/4", with 1/8" edge binding.
Sweatband: 2".

Dennis, I stumbled upon the listing on the 'Bay an hour before it ended. It was not listed very well and thus did not attract too much attention.

Funny I had an "ivory" borsalino and it was from the same time period but it was more greenish looking.

Thanks! I think JtL's magic touch is needed to make the very wide brim snap work. The smooth open dome emphasizes the hats texture.
