Chinaski: very observant. This is my only tall hat. It is a VS. I wanted it lower when I ordered it (5" exactly) but it came out higher crowned. But, due to the style of the hat, the higher crown works well I believe.

Those white hats are something to behold!... they must also be a little unnerving to hold. Do you take special care touching the felt? I had a hot pastrami sandwich in NYC earlier this week - thought to wash my hands before putting my hat back on... and that was a black hat!
