The highest i've ever paid for my own collection was £8. That was for a 1930s sports-themed (basketball) tie. I convinced benstephens to pay £10 for a tie once … but it was a 1930s tie from Charvet, so probably worth it.

Otherwise £10 - 12 is about the max. He has an awful lot of ties.
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. It's true, actually, they are a very nice lot! I help him choose alot of them.![]()
I'm spoiled from the days of finding my Dalis at yard sales for a quarter........
I look at it this way: New ties of any quality at all are a minimum of $25, and most are much more. I'd rather wear a vintage tie any day than modern ties, so spending $25 or $30 on one in fine condition is still a bargain.
See, James Powers, I told you!
Well, prove it. Send me a few Dalis for 25 cents each.![]()
