I wonder how many people got sick from those.

I saw that episode Tom and it was really putting out some radiation!
For safetys sake, the Ionic (?) tube was removed and safely stored by a professional.
Wow, talk about not knowing back then...geez.

I saw a similar ad in a 1948 Better Homes and Gardens if memory serves me. Seemed to be an unpleasant ad for the era, but sometimes I look at the postwar world with rose-colored glasses on.

Only click if morbid curiousity gets the best of you, its a rather unpleasant mental image.

Sorry to hear about your foot. Hard to say if the fluoroscope was responsible or not but for sure it didn't help anything.

Thanks but really it was smaller than a match head, really tiny and apparently very rare. I was back in the gym in 10 days. I only went to see about it because it was rubbing on my socks.
