That pattern is no longer available in the current books. I bought it off Ebay ages ago - wrong size for me (too big) but have passed it over to a friend to try out. I thought it was too good to pass up!

hello all

I have narrowed the period and style of vintage that I will be staying with clothing from 1919-1929.
I know the clothing from the early 1920's was very different then the clothing from the late 1920's.
As far as clothing goes will be dressing say as if it is mid 1920's
So that brings me to the question any one have any men's patterns from the mid 1920's?
I have found a couple of shirt patterns need pants patterns and of course formal wear patterns.
American or European are find some of the clothing from France in the mid 20's is so cool

Count me in, too! I'm working on a lovely flannel nightgown from a 40's pattern and would love to have a matching robe. It won't be authentic, but I already have the perfect matching fleece to go with the flannel.

Those Butterick patterns are great. My mom sorley needs a robe that's not hideous. I think that will be her Christmas gift if I can get my sister's machine working so I can sew in secret.

But it is a great pattern! In fact, Theresa said when she was designing it, she was thinking of my body type, so it really works for me! I plan on making another dress from this pattern soon, maybe a different bodice though - the halter is hard to do jewelry with.. And jewelry is my sin.

And now I just went and bought that robe pattern!
Why are so many of those great patterns only misses sizes?

Well I finally found the cash of patterns that were hidding in my house. I probably have over 100 that I am going to list tomorrow. They will start after 8 or so I am epr25 on ebay as well if anyone is interested. But my question is does any one knwo of a web site that I can accuratley date these by the pattren number maybe?

Aha! There they are!

Whilst antiquing today, I came across a not so vintage armoire, and for some reason decided to look in its drawers. Low and behold I found a stash of 50+ 30s Butterick patterns! I almost freaked. I asked how much they were, and the lady said $3 each! Squeeeee!!!

I looked through the ones that didnt seemed open and had their directions and got about 13. YES ME!!!

Here they is.

I dont know much about this eara of patterns, or why they were in green envelopes. I was also suprised at how many of these patterns had the frock AND the coat in the same package. Talk about a bargin!

Also, this maker I know nothing of. These were the only ones that were printed, and in english and french. They also have both curencies printed on the package.

Your wish is my command Miss 1929. Here 'tis;

I've made a muslin of this and I adore it. Despite the description of it as a "Ladies' Spring Coat" I'm on the lookout for some deep green ultrasuede to make the final version.

I adore this coat! I think I just saw deep green ultrasuedish (they call it Moleskin) at Joanne (I know what you mean by the evil salespeople, a far cry from Britex!), so there you go...
I would love to make this in a faille kind of fabric for rainy weather! Any chance of it going to the Pattern Swap thread? I am way behind on copying but will get on it, I promise...
