RS/SS and I'd take it with the rims, with only $10,000 off that price.
I went to HS with a kid that had an RS/SS and once we found out what it was, we encouraged him to take care of it.
He did, at least until we got out of HS, then I never saw the guy again.

Yes it is an RS/SS. I still hate the wheels and tires though.

I never like the contrived headlights on the RS. Now, having said that, if you were to give me a rare 67 Z28 RS/SS, I would take it!

This is a friend of mine 1930 Indian chief that he is going to ride in the Cannonball Endurance Run, http://www.motorcyclecannonball.com/. He has a sidecar, so his wife can go. Just over 4,000 miles on pre 1937 motorcycles! So why can't you ride your brand new couch to Sturgis?

Why not? My grandparents had a 1916 Indian with a side car that they had when they first got married. They took it everyhere.

This is both my and my wife's favorite vehicle, the Jeep Grand Wagoneer, the original luxury SUV. Although clearly not Golden Era, it's certainly a classic with a body style that remained largely unchanged from it's introduction in 1963 till it's final year of production in 1991. Hollywood loves them and I still see them used all the time in TV and films despite being out of production for more than 20 years.
We have personally owned five of them between us over the past 15 years. At one point we even had a matching his and hers pair. This is a photo of our most recent and best one, an 1989 model, taken around the time we got it, circa 2006. It came to us in almost showroom perfect condition, 100% original with still less than 80k on the clock.

I find those exterior sunvisors curious. Was there any specific reason they added them? Didn't they have interior visors since the early 30's?

They did but the exterior sunvisor works better all the way across without areas where the sun can still get you in the face.

My 29 Es*** did not have them, at least when I got it.
Which btw was in original condition.
I've found the sunvisor to be very helpful on sunny days, but a real pain in the **** at redlights...if I pull too close to the intersection. :eusa_doh:
