Thanks Doctor D. But it was more the product of many hours spent going through the racks at thrift stores than luck. Sadly I have sharply curtailed my shopping this year due to a well known virus.

This is rather late in the day... was just searching for something completely different (to quote the Pythons) and on a whim thought I'd look and see if there was anything on teddy bear coats and found posts going back to 2014. So just in case anyone till interested in this type I thought I'd post a couple of photos of my Harrods labelled one and my open car version (unlabelled) that has leather upper and teddy bottom just in case anyone looks this up again, apologies but only have photos of me wearing them.
Not yet cold enough in London UK to think about wearing them for a while.
