fftopic: Yes, I love him. I fast-forward to his scenes in MIBII. Hope there's even more of him in the next one.
Now, back to the pants.

There is no label in the pants but it feels like a light weight wool. I am basing this on another pair I have that feel the same.

I might have missed this, but from what fabric are the pants in question made?

Freelance actually.

You must be taking up employment as a clown in a circus with those.

I think it would have been too busy. About twenty years ago I bought a green suit just to make this costume for Halloween, and my date went as Catwoman. I'm trying to dig up pictures of it.

One of my uncles had a green suit in the early eighties. It sat in his closet for years. Then one of his brothers died in 1994 and they buried Uncle Louie in it.

I don't know why I didn't have a suit. I dimly recall receiving a last-minute invite to a Halloween party and running out to Goodwill and picking up the first cheap green things I saw. Good Lord, I must have been about twenty-three when this picture was taken, and I haven't seen it since.

Lee: Probably a custom jeweler. Even TV shows seem to have bigger budgets than most of us here. :-/

Jack: I would have slapped you a high five if I saw you at my party. You must find out where that went!

I think my niece (Mickey Mouse) found the jacket and trousers it in the attic when she was a teenager and wore it to a party. The derby was pressed back into regular service, sans question mark, right after Halloween. You can't see it in the pic, but I think I painted a question mark on the tie. The pink gloves, of course, would have been killer.

I'd love to do this costume again some day, the right way, but it may seem obvious at this point with the Batman franchise the way it is.

I was Neo back when The Matrix was still thriving. I didn't do it the right way necessarily, but the Hot Hopic coat worked just fine with some alterations and I got tonnes of compliments. Don't be afraid!

Those green pants are bad looking. I bought a similar pair at Dillard's in Orlando 11 years ago and they're still holding up, although I noticed a slight blemish on the crease on the pants.[huh] Oh what the hell. I usually wore it with a cream colored herringbone silk jacket.
