Liberty HH was touted as a fast wearing formula. The Dodger in the Pictures was bought new by me. It began "wearing" the first day I bought it. That was the intention of the Liberty hide. The hide was also very much the weight of an original WWII A2. The original A2 jackets were not made of heavy thick leather.
Bk was a controversial maker when they came out. There is much old discussion of the company and the Liberty HH in particular on this forum. Do a search

I have no reason or knowledge to not recommend Liberty. My knowledge is several years old. I have not followed the company in recent years..

hello! the aging of your jackets are amazing! i hope the current batches are still the same. just to confirm, are both of your dodger and a2 in liberty seal (not dark seal)? im planning to purchase his surrogate pattern as another (futile) attempt for a forever jacket, but cant decide which shade to go for (black, seal, or dark seal). do you have any advice in deciding which one to go for? thank u in advance

yes, I believe both are seal liberty. On what color to choose, you can decide this first: Do you want a black or brown (seal) jacket? Dark seal would very dark, but if you look closely, it’s brown as opposed to black.
