Lace recommendations for Ecco Shoes?

Hey everyone, had these Ecco Shoes since March. For the most part I like them, but the laces are too long. Do you have quality recommendations in Canada?

I wouldn't put anything else than mall shoe laces on mass produced cheap mall shoes. TFL ain't really the best place for these kind of questions either, especially starting new threads about such trivial things. Maybe use reddit or daily questions thread.

Any cotton shoelaces in the right length from Amazon?

Laces I've seen for sale typically run in lengths 30cm apart, from 0.9m upwards. I'd measure the one in there, and order the next size down. Should find something suitable on Amazon or eBay or similar. I was very pleased with some bootlaces I bought in Muji a few years ago, not sure if they still do them there.

Alternatively, the laces can be cut.

Just pop up to your local Ecco/Clarks/Camper/whateverbrand store and get new laces there.

This place exists to discuss trivial things, that is the only reason this place exists. Nothing we discuss here is of any consequence at all. Period.
And, Ecco makes really nice shoes, no reason to disparage them because they lack hipster cachet.

By the way... you can definitely turn shoelaces into a science lol.
I've ordered dozens from Amazon and sent them back because the colour wasn't perfect. I kept dozens because they were still kind of cool.
I made lots of them out of paracord, only to end up back with the ones from Rec Wing lol.
The right shoelaces can definitely improve a shoe or boot. I've replaced the laces on pretty much all my Nike shoes. Cotton/polyester, wide/narrow, shorter. Many manufacturers use shoelaces that are far too long.
